Schoolhouse Cottage

This charming Victorian Cottage, formerly the Schoolmaster’s house, thoughtfully converted and modernised but retaining all its character.

Children are welcome and pets are allowed, but a charge of £10 per dog, per week is made.

The cottage sleeps 4 people. One bedroom has a double bed (super-king zip-link bed can be separated to provide two single beds) and one bedroom has 2 x single beds.

Bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TV, clock radio and hair-dryer. Both bedrooms have new beds. We use crisp, white, Cotton linen on our beds together with light fibre-fill duvets and pillows to allay any allergies. Extra pillows and blankets are also available.

The cottage is supplied with the usual items one would hope to find in a kitchen, such as dish-clothes, tea towels and washing-up liquid, bin liners, kitchen paper roll, cling-film, cooking foil, and some cupboard condiments such as vinegar, salt & pepper. A small Welcome basket of tea, coffee, sugar and milk is provided.

Set in the magnificent Scottish Highlands countryside, overlooking the waters of the Dornoch Firth, and situated off a minor road, it is the perfect spot to relax and recharge your batteries.
